Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how G1RL ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information about you when you use G1RL.

Information we collect

G1RL is a calculator app designed to be private by default. We collect the minimum information needed to operate the app:

• Calculation history. Stored locally on your device only. Never transmitted to us or any third party.
• App preferences. Your theme, key shape, font, and other settings are stored locally on your device.
• Optional sign-in. G1RL works without an account. If you choose to use Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, the corresponding provider sends us your name, email address, and a stable user identifier so we can associate your purchases with your account across devices. You can use G1RL anonymously at any time by skipping sign-in.
• Purchase status and history. When you purchase the G1RL Pro Pass or any individual theme or key shape, RevenueCat (our purchase management partner) receives an anonymous customer identifier, the product IDs you purchased, and timestamps so we can unlock the corresponding features on your devices.
• App Store / Google Play data. When you make a purchase, Apple or Google handles the payment. We never see or store your payment card number, billing address, or Apple ID / Google Account credentials.
• Crash and diagnostic data. Anonymously collected by the Expo runtime to help us spot problems. Does not include personal identifiers.

What we do NOT collect

• No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs
• No advertising identifiers
• No location data
• No contacts, photos, or device files
• No crash reports tied to your real identity

How we use information

The information we receive is used solely to:

• Unlock premium themes and key shapes you have purchased
• Restore previous purchases when you reinstall the app or use a new device with the same Apple ID or Google Account
• Maintain your G1RL account if you signed in with Apple or Google
• Diagnose crashes and improve app stability

We do not use any of this information for advertising or tracking, and we do not sell, rent, or trade it.

Information sharing

The only third parties involved in operating G1RL are:

• Apple App Store and Google Play — to process purchases (governed by their own privacy policies).
• RevenueCat — to manage subscriptions and purchases (anonymous customer identifier only).
• Apple Sign In and Google Sign In — only if you choose to sign in.

Your rights

You can:

• Use G1RL without signing in
• Delete all on-device data by uninstalling G1RL — iOS and Android both fully remove local app storage on uninstall
• Request deletion of any off-device data we hold (RevenueCat purchase records, sign-in identifiers, crash logs) — see the data deletion page for full instructions
• Restore previous purchases at any time via the "Restore Purchases" button on the paywall (uses your Apple ID / Google Account, not us)

Data security

Data transmitted to RevenueCat and our sign-in providers is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard practices. We do not store payment card numbers, passwords, or government identifiers.

Children's privacy

G1RL is suitable for users 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this policy.
