FlashRead ("we," "our," or "the app") is a speed reading application that uses Rapid Serial Visual Presentation (RSVP) technology. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

FlashRead is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data:

• Documents you upload — All documents (TXT, PDF, EPUB, DOCX) are processed and stored entirely on your device. We never upload, transmit, or access the content of your documents.
• Reading preferences — Settings such as reading speed, theme, and font are stored locally on your device using on-device storage.
• Purchase information — If you subscribe or make an in-app purchase, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID — not your name, email, or payment details.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number.
• We do not track your location.
• We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs.
• We do not sell, rent, or share any personal data with third parties.
• We do not create user accounts or require sign-in.

3. Third-Party Services

FlashRead uses the following third-party service:

• RevenueCat — for managing in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.

4. Data Storage

All your data — documents, reading progress, preferences, and library — is stored locally on your device. Nothing is stored on external servers. If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed.

5. Children's Privacy

FlashRead does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. The app does not require account creation and stores all data on-device only.

6. Your Rights

Since all data is stored on your device, you have full control. You can delete all app data at any time by deleting the app. No request to us is necessary.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
